Southern Harmony

They weave a wonderful blend of new world folk, Irish, Celtic and Americana musical influences.

More Information

The band take on the contemporary and traditional classics delivering a breathtaking live set that thrills and exhausts audiences in equal measure.

With the Southern Harmony you can expect stand out lead vocals, accompanied by effortless vocal harmonies, guitars, mandolin, accordion, and sublime fiddle playing, which combine to create a truly exhilarating live sound.

The intensity in each song, matched by the bands obvious delight in entertaining, never wavers. The band members themselves have a huge amount of experience and have been playing and teaching music for many years.

Between them they have performed at venues such as CBGBs New York, The Royal Festival Hall London and the Colston Hall Bristol. They also have a huge amount of festival experience playing such events as the Bristol Folk Festival, Glastonbury Festival and playing to thousands as part of the 2012 Olympic Celebrations.

The band also feature experienced songwriters Sean Amor and Daryl Ball. Daryl has enjoyed chart success in his native Northern Ireland and the duos more recent songs have met with considerable acclaim, “Really good songs, properly played and sung.” said Nick Mason of Pink Floyd. “An absolute classic combo of great stomping tunes, sensitive lyrics and heart-wrenching melodies” wrote the Belfast Telegraph.

Southern Harmony was a short-lived gathering, with everyone moving on to other projects across the UK and Ireland.
