Heather Bristow and Sean Hogan

When playing as a duo, also known as Heifer & The Hog

More Information

Heather Bristow & Sean Hogan first met many years ago at a session on a canal boat at a boat and music festival at Saul Junction.

Bristol-based Sean (banjo, guitar, vocals) performs regularly with his four-piece bluegrass band, The Hogranch, and is also an actor and a member of a collective which produces the not-to-be missed Fat Shirley's Trailer Park Opera (appearing this year at Edinburgh Fringe Festival).

Tetbury-based singer-songwriter Heather Bristow (vocals, fiddle, guitar) grew up in North Carolina and has released two self-penned CDs, Hope on the Vine (2009) and Ragged Souls (2012). She has been a finalist in the UK Songwriting Contest and tracks from both of her CDs have been featured on radio programmes around the world.

Heather has performed at bluegrass and folk festivals throughout England in a variety of line-ups including: The New Essex Bluegrass Band, Appalachia, Wilderspin, The Woodberrys, The Hogranch, Heather Bristow & The Ragged Souls, and with Nicola Clark and Colin Sillence, among others.
